ABOUT THE BEER
A meal in a glass, this German Doppelbock is malt forward with a warm alcohol finish. The low IBUs allow the German malts to shine and the beer becomes more complex as it ages.
Light Munich malt as the base, Pils malt and a small dose of caramunich give this Doppelbock a complex malt profile with flavors of malty sweetness, biscuit and caramel.
German Tettnanger and Liberty hops, with their low alpha acids, help balance this beer without a strong bitter finish. Hops noted for their floral and spicy characteristics add more depth to the complexity of the malts.
