I’ve been an occasional brewer for over 30 years, but the Zymatic really helped me step up my game by giving me control over a repeatable process that lets me experiment with just the variables I want to change until I get the exact flavor profile I’m looking for. I’m an unabashed hop-head, but hops can provide a lot of subtle and complex flavors so that not all beer has to be a hop bomb or overly bitter. I also like playing with the malts and lean toward biscuit flavors with hints of toast and just a touch of sweetness.
